About the Role
The Mid Software Engineer is responsible for independently designing, developing, and optimizing backend solutions that align with organizational needs. This role includes mentoring junior engineers, implementing best practices, and contributing to the development of scalable and efficient backend architectures. The Mid-Level Backend Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams and plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently design, develop, and optimize backend solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Design scalable backend systems, ensuring maintainability and performance.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize backend processes and implement best practices to improve performance and reliability.
- Develop unit tests and automate workflows to ensure code quality.
- Act as a point of contact for junior engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Document backend systems to ensure maintainability and consistency across the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve APIs and database management systems.
- Ensure backend solutions are aligned with organizational standards and objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong experience with backend languages (e.g., Python, Node.js) and frameworks.
- Proficiency in cloud services (e.g., AWS) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid experience in database management, API design, and backend architectures.
- Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
